Project Manager 

Location:  These are hybrid roles; typically working 3 days in the office or on client site in London, Manchester or Cheltenham and up to 2 days working from home.

 We are seeking several Project Managers at all levels to join our dynamic team and work alongside our other Project Managers, Business Change Consultants, and Strategic Comms professionals. You will work primarily in the National Security and Defence domain, which is fast paced and extremely rewarding.    

About The Role

As a Project Manager at Clarion Insight, you will work with our clients to use well established and appropriate project management techniques to deliver successful products and outcomes that meet client expectations and support business transformation and change. You’ll be tasked with initiating, planning, scheduling, implementing, and managing low to medium complexity project work throughout the full project lifecycle.    

You will typically take a leading role in managing a team to enable successful delivery, and take a leading role in establishing governance arrangements, monitoring and reporting progress, and stakeholder management within your project work. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • maintain the business case throughout the life of a project where required 

  • develop and maintain a project plan 

  • manage external project dependencies 

  • plan for, and manage stakeholders in connection with product delivery 

  • perform financial planning and management 

  • identify, assess, manage and review risks and issues 

  • monitoring and reporting progress to the Service Delivery Lead 

  • deliver the products that meet the acceptance criteria of the customers  

  • influence the approach to realise the on-going benefits 

About You

We are looking for individuals who are able to work as part of a team or leading a small team of Change management Consultants, Business Analysts Comms and Engagement Specialists and Software Developers.  Ideally you will: 

Ideally you will: 

  • have experience of successfully delivering projects throughout the full project lifecycle, preferably within a public sector environment. 

  • be familiar with waterfall and agile approaches to project management 

  • be comfortable with client engagements at all levels and be able to present key management information to stakeholders 

  • have experience of using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence and MS Project 

  • be able to think creatively, constantly looking for new and innovative ways to engage different audiences 

  • have excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

  • be accredited as a professional project manager and hold a qualification such as PMQ (was APMP) or PRINCE2 Practitioner, preferably you will also have an Agile certification. 

  • Have worked in a technical or technology environment, preferably within the National Security or defence environment

Clearance

We have several roles at different levels within Clarion, eDV clearance would be ideal, but we would consider those with MOD DV or SC.
